Folk Music by Tarabud
This is a recent indie-folk solo project for vocalist of Sentinel. Having taught herself guitar and bass, she came a long way in a very short period of time composing her music. Music was a natural extension of her poetry writing. Her claim to fame are the simple guitar chords, sometimes keyboard compositions that transport her delicate vocals, stories of pain, love, and loneliness to the listener. She has only recently been composing, but has evolved her own unique style of folk and truth-like lullabyes. She is also eccletic; returning to her roots in her Spanish song 'Misterio'. You just might find yourself doing the samba in your living room. Gatherman Productions finished recording her latest debut album Demons, released in 2006 on www.Cdbaby.com! Be sure to check out the latest tune "Alaska" toward her future album Wandering Landscapes on www.myspace.com/tarabud

Sentinel on TV !
As you all know, I am member of this indie group. And here is the latest:
Last night we were on Paralta.tv broadcast on local TV channels in East Bay Cities. You can catch the podcast version of it at and look for 9th Floor Radio shows at: www.peralta.tv.
Last weekend, our song 'All Her Ways' was found show worthy by Live 105 Soundcheck, playing local indie music of all flavors.
This is exciting because WXRT in Chicago, heard that show and now sister station in the midwest wants to play us! It's truly a deliscious avalanche that they want to hear our music.
Now Sentinel members are taking trips abroad and of course it makes us sad to turn shows down in the San Francisco area. We'll be back in full force on 8/24 for our show at Beckett's Irish Pub. No cover at the door, and must be 21 and older.
We'll be hitting the ground running: check out calendar at: www.gathermanproductions.com.
yours,
Tarabud

Sentinel had a fun show at pier 39 in San Francisco. Lots of peeps watched and ogled us, while they ate hot dogs and cotton candy, tourist took photos to show their friends in Japan, and some dedicated fans came to commune with us. It was a great time. Too bad we can only play there once a year. Here are some pics taken by Mary. That same weekend after our show, we had the pleasure of hearing our song "All Her Ways" on FM Radio, Live 105 station. Wow what a treat.
